Safeguarding & Confidentiality
How we protect clients and others from harm, and when confidentiality may be broken.
Last updated: 20 October 2026
Our approach
We follow HCPC and UKCP guidance and the Care Act 2014 and Children Act 1989 safeguarding principles. Your wellbeing and safety are central to our work.
When we may share information
If we believe you or someone else, particularly a child or adult at risk, is at serious risk of harm, we may need to share information with your GP, social services, the police or emergency services. Wherever it is safe to do so, we will talk with you first.
Age of clients
We work with adults aged 18 and over. [Update if you see younger clients.]
