Depression therapy to help you feel like yourself again

A gentle way back to yourself.

Depression can drain colour from everyday life. You don't have to push through alone, therapy offers a safe, non-judgemental space to make sense of how you feel.

Understanding depression

Depression is more than feeling sad. It can drain your energy, flatten your mood, change how you sleep and eat, and make the things you once enjoyed feel distant or pointless.

Therapy offers a steady, non-judgemental space to understand what has brought you here, gently rebuild motivation and begin to relate to yourself with more kindness. As an HCPC registered Chartered Psychologist, I use evidence-based approaches tailored to you.

I see adults in person at my clinic in Swanley, Kent, and online by video or phone for clients across London, the UK and internationally.

Depression therapy questions

How do I know if it is depression or just a rough patch?

If low mood has lasted more than two weeks and is affecting daily life, it is worth talking to someone. You do not need a diagnosis to start therapy.

Can therapy help if I am taking antidepressants?

Yes. Therapy often works well alongside medication. Please keep your GP involved in any decisions about your medication.

What if I have thoughts of harming myself?

Please tell me, as we can talk about it safely. If you are in immediate danger, call 999 or Samaritans on 116 123, any time of day.

Do I need a GP referral?

No. You can book a free consultation directly. If you plan to use private health insurance, check whether your insurer needs a referral first.

Is online therapy as effective as in person?

Research shows online therapy can be just as effective for many difficulties, and many clients find it easier to open up from home.
