Therapy for identity and sense of self

Space to discover who you really are.

Questions about who we are, culture, sexuality, gender, purpose or belonging, can feel isolating. Therapy offers a neutral ground to explore yourself without judgement.

Understanding identity issues

Questions about who we are can feel unsettling. You might feel caught between cultures, unsure about your sexuality or gender, lost after a big life change, or simply disconnected from what you want.

Therapy offers a curious, affirming and confidential space to explore these questions without judgement or pressure to reach a fixed answer. Together we make room for all the parts of you.

I see adults in person at my clinic in Swanley, Kent, and online by video or phone for clients across London, the UK and internationally.

Identity Issues therapy questions

Do I need to know what I am looking for?

Not at all. Many people come to therapy with a feeling rather than a clear question. Exploring that feeling is the work.

Is your practice LGBTQ+ affirming?

Yes. Everyone is welcome, and your identity is respected without judgement.

Can you help with neurodivergence?

Yes. I have training in autism assessment (ADOS and ADI-R) and support adults making sense of a diagnosis.

Do I need a GP referral?

No. You can book a free consultation directly. If you plan to use private health insurance, check whether your insurer needs a referral first.

Is online therapy as effective as in person?

Research shows online therapy can be just as effective for many difficulties, and many clients find it easier to open up from home.
