Bereavement and grief therapy
Support through loss, at your own pace.
Grief is deeply personal and rarely follows a straight line. Therapy provides a compassionate space to remember, feel and slowly adjust to life after loss.

Understanding bereavement
Grief can be overwhelming and unpredictable. It can arrive as sadness, anger, guilt, numbness or exhaustion, and it rarely follows a neat timeline.
Bereavement therapy gives you a gentle space to remember the person you have lost, make sense of your feelings and find a way to carry your grief as life continues.
I see adults in person at my clinic in Swanley, Kent, and online by video or phone for clients across London, the UK and internationally.
Common signs of bereavement
- Overwhelming sadness or numbness
- Guilt, anger or regret

Bereavement therapy questions
Is it too soon to have therapy?
There is no right time. Some people come within weeks, others years later. We can talk about what feels right for you.
Is it normal that I still feel this way years later?
Yes. Grief does not have a deadline. Therapy can help when grief feels stuck or is still affecting daily life.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book a free consultation directly. If you plan to use private health insurance, check whether your insurer needs a referral first.
Is online therapy as effective as in person?
Research shows online therapy can be just as effective for many difficulties, and many clients find it easier to open up from home.
