Understanding anxiety
Everyone feels anxious sometimes. It is a natural response to pressure or uncertainty. But when worry becomes constant, starts to shape the choices you make, or shows up in your body as a racing heart, tight chest or sleepless nights, it can be exhausting to live with.
Anxiety therapy gives you a calm, confidential space to understand where your anxiety comes from and what keeps it going. As an HCPC registered Chartered Psychologist, I use evidence-based approaches to help you break unhelpful cycles, feel more in control and get back to the things that matter to you.
I see adults for anxiety therapy in person at my clinic in Swanley, Kent, and online by video or phone for clients across London, the UK and internationally.
Common signs of anxiety

Anxiety therapy questions
How do I know if I need therapy for anxiety?
If worry is affecting your sleep, work, relationships or how you live day to day, it is worth talking to someone. You do not need a diagnosis to start therapy.
How many sessions will I need?
It varies from person to person. Many people notice a difference within 6 to 12 sessions, and we review progress regularly so you always know where you are.
Is online anxiety therapy as effective as in person?
Research shows online therapy can be just as effective for anxiety. Many clients find it easier to open up from the comfort of their own home.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book a free consultation directly. If you plan to use private health insurance, check whether your insurer needs a referral first.
What if I feel too anxious to make the first call?
That is very common. You are welcome to email first instead, and the consultation is simply a gentle conversation with no pressure to continue.
