Understanding panic disorder
A panic attack can feel terrifying: a pounding heart, shortness of breath, dizziness and a sense that something awful is about to happen. Living in fear of the next one can start to shrink your world.
Panic disorder responds very well to therapy. Together we understand what happens in your body and mind during panic, so the sensations feel less frightening and you can return to the places you have been avoiding.
I see adults in person at my clinic in Swanley, Kent, and online by video or phone for clients across London, the UK and internationally.
Common signs of panic disorder

Panic Disorder therapy questions
Can a panic attack hurt me?
Panic attacks feel frightening but are not dangerous. It is still sensible to see your GP to rule out physical causes of your symptoms.
How quickly can therapy help with panic?
Many people notice improvement within a few sessions as they learn what is happening during panic.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book a free consultation directly. If you plan to use private health insurance, check whether your insurer needs a referral first.
Is online therapy as effective as in person?
Research shows online therapy can be just as effective for many difficulties, and many clients find it easier to open up from home.
